Class Is in Session—And So Are Adoptions in Capitol Heights!

Overcrowded and understaffed, animal shelters are in a tough place, leaving many dogs and cats without a home. But fear not, Pohanka Honda in Capitol Heights has a way for you to help. They are hosting an adoption event on August 9th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in partnership with the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter and the Brandywine Valley SPCA. This is the third adoption event being held this year, with 34 dogs and cats total adopted at the last event. There will be dogs and cats of various ages and sizes available to adopt, all age-appropriately vaccinated so you can bring them home from the event.

And we’re not kitten around, here’s the best part: Pohanka covers all adoption fees for dogs and cats adopted.

This is a family-friendly event that you won’t want to miss, featuring complimentary food and drinks from Fancy Ranch (located in Union Market, DC) and Tropical Smoothie Cafe, until supplies last. Pohanka also partners with a company called Pawfectly Delicious, who will be selling homemade dog treats onsite.
